Lady Tonetta Bynes

Dr. Tonetta Bynes serves as First Lady of Word of Life Empowerment Church. She graciously serves alongside her husband to assist him in fulfilling the vision God has given to him. (Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:10-12)

First Lady Dr. Bynes holds a Doctorate Degree in Biblical Counseling from Kingdom Truth University, and an associate degree in Biblical Studies from Truth Bible College in Jacksonville, Florida. Additionally, she is certified as a gap stander (intercessor) from Truth Bible College. (Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15)

First Lady Dr. Bynes is the youngest daughter of Pastor, District Elder Tony, and Lady Elect Yvonne Lane. She has served as Sunday School Teacher, musician, praise and worship leader, usher, altar call worker, cleanup committee, and much more. Her willingness to work in the house of God has allowed her to hold local, state, and international positions with the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. (Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak; for your work shall be rewarded. 2 Chronicles 15:7)

First Lady Dr. Bynes career experiences include Human Resources with Florida Blue both in the cities of Jacksonville and Miami. She also worked for UF Health (Shands Jacksonville). The Lord has since opened the door of opportunities for her as an Employee Relations Specialist as well as the consulting work through the personal HR business she co-owns with her husband.  She is the author of the book “Fulfilling Your Kingdom Assignment – Know Who You Are.” She is also one of the co-authors of the book entitled “50 Shades of Change” authored by Carolyn Boston Love.

First Lady Dr. Bynes can look back over her life and can see how God was preparing her for such a time as this. The experiences she gained, lessons learned, examples of exemplary parental role models, as well as the many other seasoned, strong women and men in the body of Christ that has allowed her to be well equipped to serve God’s people in this capacity. She is excited to be a servant in the body of Christ! (Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…. Jeremiah 1:5a)
